As one might expect of an author, I love words and I love stories. I love capturing human emotions, both the basic and the chaotic, and wrestling them into a fictional, fantastical existence. My novels are predominately adult fantasy romance, though I also write literary short fiction that I sometimes attempt to get published in creative writing journals, though mostly I forget by the time the deadlines roll around.
I have a background in marketing and public relations, but I’ve left the 9-5 life for one of chasing around a very active daughter and writing when she’s hyper-focused on a task. Aside from writing, my family and I love to travel and experience living in the great wide world around us. When we’re not carting ourselves off to our next destination, we live in Annapolis, MD with our big, gray tabby-cat Scout who likes to bark-meow at the top of his lungs exactly fifteen minutes after we turn in for the night. No one knows why.
